Spicy Empanadas with Beef

Ingredients:

Yields: 20 empanadas
20 empanadas discs for frying
2 lbs ground beef
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 sweet pepper, chopped
5 tbsp tomato pasteYour favorite hot sauce
A pinch of onion powder
A pinch of oreganoCrushed red pepper flakesSalt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp water Vegetable oil, for frying

Method of Preparation:

  1. Preheat a saucepan and begin preparing the veggies with the olive oil, garlic, pepper, salt, and oregano.
  2. Add the ground beef when you notice the vegetables starting to roast.
  3. Season the meat with all the spices you wish, keeping in mind that it needs to have a particularly robust flavor.
  4. Include the tomato paste and thoroughly combine with the meat.
  5. Add spicy sauce last! Be careful since you won’t be able to remove the sauce at that point.
  6. It’s time to put the empanadas together. Put some of the hot meat in the center of one of the discs. All you have to do is fold it in half.
  7. In heated vegetable oil, fry them till crisp and brown.
