Shrimp and Garlic Linguine

Ingredients:

8 oz linguine pasta
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
1/4 cup white wine (optional)
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Directions:

Cook the linguine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1 minute until the garlic becomes fragrant.

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn pink and opaque.

If using, pour in the white wine and let it simmer for a minute or two to reduce slightly.

Return the cooked linguine to the skillet with the shrimp. Toss everything together to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley for a burst of freshness.

Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
