Ingredients:
  • 4 steaks (your choice of cut, such as ribeye or sirloin)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Chipotle Honey Butter:
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon adobo sauce (from the chipotle peppers)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
Directions:
  1. Begin by seasoning the steaks with salt and black pepper. Let them sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
  2. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Brush the steaks with olive oil.
  3. Grill the steaks to your preferred level of doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare (depending on thickness).
  4. While the steaks are cooking, prepare the chipotle honey butter. In a small bowl, mix together softened butter, honey, chopped chipotle pepper, adobo sauce, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt. Blend until all ingredients are well combined.
