Ingredients:
- 4 steaks (your choice of cut, such as ribeye or sirloin)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Chipotle Honey Butter:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon adobo sauce (from the chipotle peppers)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
Directions:
- Begin by seasoning the steaks with salt and black pepper. Let them sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Brush the steaks with olive oil.
- Grill the steaks to your preferred level of doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare (depending on thickness).
- While the steaks are cooking, prepare the chipotle honey butter. In a small bowl, mix together softened butter, honey, chopped chipotle pepper, adobo sauce, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt. Blend until all ingredients are well combined.
- Once the steaks are cooked, let them rest for a few minutes.
- Serve each steak with a generous dollop of chipotle honey butter on top.
