Golden Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

2 pounds chicken wings
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Vegetable oil for frying
Your choice of dipping sauces (e.g., BBQ, ranch, honey mustard)

Directions:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well to create the seasoned flour mixture.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large, heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (175°C).

Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Dredge each chicken wing in the seasoned flour mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated. Shake off any excess flour.

Carefully place the coated chicken wings into the hot oil. Fry in batches to prevent overcrowding, which can lead to uneven cooking.

Fry the chicken wings for approximately 10-12 minutes, or until they achieve a beautiful golden-brown color and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Use a slotted spoon to carefully remove the golden chicken wings from the oil, allowing any excess oil to drain.

Place the fried wings on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any remaining oil.

Serve the golden chicken wings hot with your preferred dipping sauces.
