Ingredients:
- 4 ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Gold Butter:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon edible gold flakes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
- Salt to taste
Directions:
- Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to high heat. Brush the steaks with olive oil.
- Grill the steaks to your preferred level of doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, depending on thickness.
- While the steaks are grilling, prepare the gold butter. In a bowl, combine softened butter, edible gold flakes, garlic powder, parsley, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined.
- Once the steaks are cooked to your liking, let them rest for a few minutes.
- Serve each steak with a dollop of the gold butter on top, allowing it to melt over the warm steak.
