LOW CARB BACON CHEESEBURGER CASSEROLE

Ingredients :

2 pounds ground beef
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon onion powder
1 pound cooked bacon, cut into pieces
8 eggs
1 cup heavy whipping cream
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (12 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese, divided

Directions :

First, preheat the oven to 350°F (175 degrees C).

Step 2 Turn up the heat to medium-high in a large skillet. Cook and stir meat for 5 to 7 minutes, or until it is browned and crumbly. Drain and get rid of oil.

Step 3 Cover the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish with meat. Add the bacon bits and stir.

Step 4 In a larger bowl, stir together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Add 8 ounces of Cheddar cheese by stirring.

Step 5 Put the egg mixture over the steak and bacon . Add the final 4 ounces of cheese on top.

Step 6 Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown, in the preheated oven.
